I followed the recipe pretty closely simply used some reviewers suggestions. I drained the sourkraut only didn't rinse information technology, because we like the tangy taste of the sourkraut. I buttered rye bread slices on i side and spread Thousand Isle dressing on the other side. On the dressing side I placed a slice of swiss cheese, sliced Pastrami from the cafeteria and and then topped with sourkraut. I cooked them on my George Foreman grill until the cheese was melted and the staff of life was dainty and toasted. They were succulent! I just gave the four star rating considering the sourkraut in the middle wasn't very warm. Next time I make these I will warm the sourkraut in the microwave first and maybe add another slice of swiss too! If you similar Rueben sandwiches you will beloved this one!

I piece of work as a grill melt at Cracker Barrel, and while the Reuben is 1 of the most annoying things to brand at a decorated fourth dimension, Information technology doesn't take nearly 45 minutes to make. Maybe 5 at most from get-go to end. If this recipe works for you, and then good. Withal, we do information technology quite differently. We first off by putting approximately 1/4 cup sauerkraut (we never measure information technology, we just grab some) on the grill, and a bag of about the same amount of chip corn beef on top of that. Then nosotros put two pieces of bread down with some butter, and put two pieces of swiss cheese on each slice of bread. Once the sauerkraut and beef has heated up for a minute or two, we put it on one piece of breadstuff, and put the 1000 isle dressing on the other piece. Equally I said before, it shouldn't take more five-x minutes to make.

These were neat. I used George Foreman grill, which was like shooting fish in a barrel and quick. I don't similar soggy staff of life, so I put the dressing and sauerkraut between the meat and cheese. I also only used one slice of cheese per sandwich.
04/19/2007
A good mustard is the mode to make a Reuben. Down in south Alabama nosotros did non kickoff hearing about this thousand isle business organization until about 10 years ago.
04/11/2007
Hubby and I beloved this sandwich. I like to utilise the sweeter "bavarian style" sauerkraut with the caraway seeds. Somtimes I alter it up and use mustard instead of g isle dressing.
03/25/2011
Bully sandwich! The classics never dice! This was and so good and so easy to make. If y'all apply proficient quality ingredients y'all'll end upwards with a wonderful sandwich. I used "Grand Island Dressing II" from this site. Perfect for a quick luncheon - YUM!
03/17/2005
Well liked by all. I also spread the chiliad island dressing between meat and cheese to proceed bread from getting soggy, and agree with another review, y'all have to use butter, not margerine. Use deli corned beef and you have the genuine bargain hither. Keen recipe!

My husband's favorite sandwich is a reuben, and he ordinarily goes to a local cafeteria for i. I wanted to be able to make them at dwelling for him, can I came upon this recipe--it was very well received!! I've made it several times since I institute information technology in early 2005, and the simply alter I make is to utilise a piffling more than g island dressing than the recipe calls for since that is my married man'due south favorite part
03/16/2007
Succulent!!!! This is hands downwardly my favorite sandwich. And this recipe is great and easy to follow. I fabricated it for dinner and it was a huge hit. I added boosted cheese and additional corned beef...because I accept some large boys in my family. :)
07/06/2011
I used to make Reuben's in a restaurant, and I got great raves for mine. To meliorate on this sandwich, I would add more than corned beef, and as well add together an equal amount of Pastrami. The total meat weight of 12 oz. In the New York Deli, they put ane lb. of meat on each sandwich. Also mix the sauerkraut and dressing, and put information technology in the heart of the sandwich, then the bread doesn't get soggy. Also, wring out the sauerkraut, so it's not moisture.
09/13/2002
Fantastic! I used pumpernickel bread & subbed mozzarella for the swiss (I don't normally have swiss in the house, considering nobody actually cares for it on a regular basis) & put some horseradish sauce on information technology....YUM! Thanks for sharing Colette, we eat these often!
07/07/2011
If you lot actually desire a good grilled sandwich you need to brown the within of the breadstuff first. Then gather and cook the outside.
04/fifteen/2010
Perfect, classic Reuben. In my volume information technology's worth making a corned beef brisket (I like "Slow Cooked Corned Beef for Sandwiches," also from this site) just to make this sandwich! Every bit others take noted, bleed and RINSE the sauerkraut and heat it briefly so that information technology'south practiced and hot past the time the sandwich is done. I used a marbled rye, which made this sandwich especially pretty. Whether you utilize cafeteria corned beefiness or melt your own corned beef brisket, make sure the meat is tender! There's nothing worse with a Reuben sandwich than to take a bite and pull out a big hunk of tough meat, leaving the balance of the sandwich behind! (I've had a Reuben like that in a eating house or 2...)
06/27/2011
A dandy base recipe to larn how to make a Reuben but yous gotta cook your ain meat! Information technology's likewise easy to skip. Instead of deli meat, I used "Deadening Cooked Corned Beefiness for Sandwiches" from this site. If butter is banned at your house like it is in mine, using cooking spray works but as well to make the staff of life crispy. I too used Publix 2% swiss cheese and Publix fat-free dressing. Fabricated a good and practically guilt-complimentary sandwich.
03/17/2014
Ingredients are fine only assembly and cooking demand aid. here's the surreptitious: one. Heat the corned beef and sauerkraut separately in the microwave until simply warm 2. Put cheese on one piece of staff of life, Corned beefiness on the other 3. Put sauerkraut in middle with Thousand Island on it (keeps bread from getting soggy) 4. Simplify your life- don't butter the bread. Put a pat butter in the pan and melt just earlier you put sandwich in. When side toasts pick upward with spatula, add another pat of butter turn over. **For best results heat should be on the low side of medium-low. Use a frying pan with a chapeau. This holds in the estrus and ensures the inside is warm and outside isn't burned.
03/09/2008
Great basic recipe for a traditional reuben sandwich. I make some minor substitutions, post-obit my mom'south recipe: Instead of corned beef, I use pastrami. Subsequently draining the sauerkraut, I put it in a medium bowl and mix in the thou island using a fork. Other than that, I assemble the sandwiches co-ordinate to this recipe, and my husband and I love them!
03/19/2012
Yummy! My husband *loves* Reubens and these got a big seal of approval from him. I followed the directions exactly and nosotros were pleased with the results. Served with Claussen dill pickle spears, which were a perfect compliment to the sandwiches. Thank you :)
03/xviii/2008
This is really an fantabulous recipe, and the perfect way to use leftover corned beef. I had lots of corned beefiness left from St. Pat'due south day celebrations, and so I fabricated this more once; information technology works beautifully even with slight changes. I had to use a different bread the second time, and used some leftover jarlsburg cheese (balmy swiss) - still delicious! I hold with the other reviewers that you should warm the corned beefiness and sauerkraut prior to assembly and cooking of the sandwiches, only this is easy to do. I only turned the oven on to 350 degrees and popped the beef and sauerkraut in it earlier I started getting the sandwich stuff ready, and by the time the grill was heating upwards and I wanted to put the sandwiches together they were nice and warm. At any rate it worked not bad, although I used a stove top grill and only grilled the sandwiches for 7 minutes per side. Longer than that and they started to burn, and then I would propose watching the sandwiches considering all grills aren't equal in heating. The 2d batch I too tented tinfoil over them as they cooked on the grill; this helped to keep everything toasty. Yum!!!
04/xx/2002
Merely 'built" a couple of these and they are great! The kids don't like the sauerkraut, or corned beef, then this is a "grownup" sandwich in my house! They only took v minutes per side, only I weighed the sandwich down with a heavy pan on top. VERY delicious!
07/24/2011
Great recipe! I read other reviews for suggestions, and it came out perfect. Like other people, I put the thousand island and the sauerkraut in the heart of the sandwich so the staff of life didn't get soggy. I found that it was easier to put in the middle if I put the (already drained) sauerkraut in a bowl, microwaved it about 30 seconds to oestrus it up, and then mixed in the m island dressing. I kept the grill on medium-low estrus and was able to heat information technology up for the recommended corporeality of fourth dimension without called-for the bread. Thank you for the recipe!
01/08/2010
This is the succulent recipe we use at dwelling. We drain the sauerkraut and identify it in a minor bucket on low which warms information technology as well as evaporates whatsoever juice left after draining it. Another taste treat for this Reuben is to try honey mustard in identify of the 1000 island or regular mustard. This is a swell sandwich as a stand alone dinner or lunch...Thanks much
09/23/2007
we love these! instead of grilling in the pan, we use the george foreman grill and they plough out wonderful!
12/xiii/2009
Astonishing. Definitely the all-time Reuben I've e'er had. I won't be ordering another one in a restaurant because I know I'll exist disappointed. I used the "Slow Cooked Corned Beef for Sandwiches" also on Allrecipes.com which I'grand certain helped make this sandwich amazing. The deli down the street claims to brand the best reubens in boondocks... well, I think I've taken that merits to fame abroad from them now! I've eaten them half-dozen days in a row at present!! Honey pregnancy :)
11/01/2010
This was awesome. This recipe calls for sauerkraut to be drained. Some people must take missed that. I used pastrami, turned out crawly. Used a bandage fe skillet and the sandwiches turned out beautifully and oh and so yummy!!!! The layering here is adept, and was the reason I looked a recipe up anyway. Also, if you're cooking stovetop, put the lid on the pan for a scrap and that volition assist with heating the cheese/sauerkraut. Ours were the perfect temperature throughout.
01/28/2015
Lots of tweaks are required for this receipe. Outset you absolutely need to bleed the sourkraut. Clasp the sourkraut out over the sink before placing it on the sandwich. If you don't do this, the sandwich will exist soggy. As well you exercise not take to use the bread. Utilise any whole wheat bread and spread both sides with easily spreadable margarine. I've perfected this receipe over many tries. Feel free to use any Swiss cheese, Grieire is specially good. I put two slices on i side and 1 on the other. In add-on to thousand isle dressing, spread the inside of one side of bread with Dijon mustard. It's delicious! The order I employ is margarine on bread face down, g island dressing, two slices of Swiss cheese, drained sourkraut, a lot of corned beef, another piece of Swiss cheese, thousand isle dressing, bread with Dijon mustard on the within and margarine spread on the exterior. Grill as you would for a grilled cheese sandwich on low-medium heat. The 2d side volition melt faster than the get-go. Enjoy with a pickle.
02/21/2014
The Rueben is one of my favorite things to social club at Ma & Pop manner restaurants, but I've never fabricated one at home until today. With all the other Rueben recipes out there, I'g glad I picked this one to try showtime. It's just how I like them. Thanks!
10/xvi/2011
I used my griddle. On one end I toasted the bread on the other end I warmed up the corned beefiness and the sauerkraut (drained). I made g isle dressing from scratch (no egg recipe). piled all the ingredients on the breadstuff and finished toasting. NO SOGGY BREAD!! Easy and favorite sandwich in our home.
08/09/2005
My husband just raved about these sandwiches. Just delicious! Besides, heat the sauerkraut.
03/17/2014
Simple, adept recipe.
x/11/2004
This is THE Reuben! Sense of taste only as adept as the diner'southward. I only made i and really didn't follow the directions and it tasted great! Pressing the sandwich a scrap actually helps keeps everything from shifting all over the place when yous turn it. just information technology would be great if this was made on a panini gril besides! Make sure y'all have the rut on low enough and so information technology takes enough time to melt the cheese and warm the corned beef and saurkraut. Also, I'thousand a butter girl, only think you would HAVE to make this with butternot margarine.
05/fifteen/2007
This is the all-time way to make Reubens we've tried. Pefect!
08/22/2008
Rather than brand individual sandwiches, I used a loaf of French bread. I toasted it rather than grilling it.
07/23/2011
This is an fantabulous sandwich. Exist sure to use sauerkraut in a cooled pocketbook (commonly from the deli or effectually the hot dog area in a store). This is far better than the canned.
12/06/2013
Oh, seriously delicious! I used Boar'south Head corned beef (you MUST employ excellent quality corned beef for a bang-up Reuben!) and had them slice it very sparse. Be certain to cover your pan while you brown these and keep them on a medium/low heat. This will ensure that the sandwich is warm in the centre with nicely melted cheese and perfectly browned breadstuff. (15 minutes per side is waaayyy likewise long, and so condone that in the recipe directions.) I am non a fan of Russian dressing, but love TI, then that is what I utilise and enjoy on this sandwich. Oh, and rinsing the sauerkraut is a must unless you adore information technology and love a very strong taste of it in your sandwich.
02/15/2007
Succulent sandwich. It works all-time with very thinly sliced lean corned beef. I as well added pickles. Yum
03/17/2014
This is your typical Reuben sandwich, but Oh so proficient, but grilling for 15 minutes, not so much...more like two-3 min. on each side...
02/12/2007
My youngest daughter loves these. If yous don't like rye bread, sliced sourdough works well.
05/25/2011
Always a winner. I similar to pile the corned beef high. This time I used Thousand Island Salad Dressing minus the paprika from this site; very skillful.
11/22/2004
These sandwiches were great! Had to brand something quick for just me and the husband and this definitely hit the spot! Served with cream of broccoli soup and a plate of assorted olives, roasted peppers and pickles! Succulent! :)
03/26/2008
I used the recipe "slow cooked corned beefiness for sandwiches" from this site for this. I did butter the staff of life and brown it in a skillet, but then I only layered the sandwich and heated it in the microwave. The bottom piece of bread became a fiddling soggy merely it was still succulent. The next day I put the bread in the toaster- I got a prissy crispy sandwich. My husband called this recipe "dynamite!", and he tells his family all about this feast!
03/28/2013
Excellent! Married man had mustard, I had TI dressing. Followed reviewer suggestions for warming the corned beef and sauerkraut. Side by side time I think I'll purchase a few more slices of corned beef just we really enjoyed these equally written. My mom used to make the best Reubens. These made me remember her so thank you for posting.
08/28/2004
Ruebens are my all-time favorites and this recipe is absolutely blindside-on. My days of going to the eating house to guild them are over - I can make 'em myself now. Thank you Colette!
03/06/2010
My hubby asked for these three days in a row! He said they were the best he'd ever had... I don't like Reubens at all merely he'd give information technology 10 stars if he could!
04/01/2016
03-24-2011 Fixed this for our St. Patrick'southward Day meal. The sandwich is delicious. A reuben is my sandwich of choice in a restaurant, merely I've never made one at home. This is a keen recipe to utilise. Information technology came together rapidly and I cooked them on the griddle along with Swiss Cheese Potato Pancakes from this site. Everything got done at the same time and we had a wonderful meal. I will for certain exist making this again. Thanks Colette for posting this recipe. 03-xix-xvi ~ The all-time office of the St. Patrick's meal is the leftover corned beefiness - merely to make a Reuben! This is a great and filling sandwich. I used ii-toned staff of life and 'Not M Island Dressing' from AR in place of bottled dressing. The sandwiches were amazing. I might be a little biased, as a Reuben is my favorite sandwich.
01/xvi/2017
Did non make any changes. Hubby and I liked it just as is. I wish most people would rate the recipes as is, instead of changing everything, and so rating information technology. That would be more helpful.
06/08/2013
Best Reuben Sandwich ever...just like the cafeteria when I was growing up.
08/12/2008
Fantastic sandwich! To cut down on the fat, I used turkey pastrami, lowfat Swiss, and fat-complimentary M Island (Kraft brand is wonderful!). I served these with "Restaurant-Way Coleslaw I" from this site. As another reviewer suggested, be sure to heat the meat and sauerkraut before grilling. Thanks for the recipe!
08/27/2011
Very good, used pastrami instead of corned beefiness and used AR's G Island Dressing 3. Decadent, but delicious, exactly the fashion a reuben should be.
05/25/2011
this is the aforementioned every bit my moms recipe and i have been making them for 20 years, if you lot put a lid on the pan while toasting the sandwiches, the whole sandwich will exist hot and the cheese will exist melted. then wonderful and like shooting fish in a barrel!
04/06/2011
This sandwich is better than the i at my local deli. I used marbled rye/pumpernikel (sp)? staff of life from Pepperidge Farm then followed the recipe. Don't modify a affair, it is delicious!
12/10/2002
This was pretty skillful, simply my kids hated the Thousand Isle dressing! I will only leave that off side by side fourth dimension. When I toasted them in a big heavy skillet, I also weighed them downwardly with another pan and a big heavy tin inside the pan. They came out nicely browned and all the "goodies" stayed inside the breadstuff.
03/12/2014
I make my Reuben this way every bit well. Do warm the sauerkraut before assembling and bleed it well, then squeeze it to remove any remaining wet. Adding a thin layer of horseradish to the meat side of the bread is a tasty addition. If you utilize just 1 layer of cheese, it is helpful to grill the meat-only side get-go, then the cheese side. This allows the sandwich to oestrus up and so the cheese melts properly. Mustard is too a good addition if you rinse the sauerkraut. Otherwise, information technology tin be a bit overpowering. As others have mentioned, v minutes per side is probably sufficient. Yous practice non desire the bread to injure the roof of your mouth! On the rare occasions my husband and I order a Reuben at a restaurant, we are usually disappointed and make this version within a couple of weeks.
04/ten/2012
great recipe....however....use home cooked corned beef. Not any actress trouble. Fix corned beef and cabbage on Sunday, Reuben sandwiches on Tuesday. Otherwise, utilize the recipe...AS IS. You'll exist happy.
05/23/2011
I really don't care for anything on this sandwich simply I love them all together! I prefer to used Carl Budding corned beef and I employ Miracle Whip instead of Thousand Island. I alway plan to swallow these while my husband is away, this is ane thing he doesn't intendance for that I absolutely honey!
05/18/2012
We prepared this this night. What a treat. We used American Cheese instead of Swiss. It was admittedly the best Reuben I've e'er eaten. Attempt information technology, you'll love it.
01/12/2012
Admittedly delicious and Like shooting fish in a barrel! I am obsessed with Reuben Sandwiches, and this is meliorate than anything I've e'er paid for in a restaurant. One thing I'll exercise side by side time is melt butter and brush onto the staff of life...it's just difficult to flip on the griddle when the butter is still in cold lumps :) That is ALL I am changing though! Kudos to Colette, this is wonderful!
05/05/2012
this came out sooooo good. i used deli roast beefiness and fried it for a bit in olive oil. it tasted just like corned beef! i used french dressing considering nosotros ran out of thousand island, and i used a laughing cow Swiss cheese spreadable triangle. It came out so Delicious!
03/06/2014
We are non rye staff of life eaters so I used sour dough and they were excellent. I may try some mustard side by side time.
04/13/2006
classic sandwich...Bang-up taste. 15 minutes is a footling long, 5 minutes per side is more similar it. Endeavour it yous'll like it. Don't forget the dill pickle.
12/07/2008
My favorite sandwich! I suggest making your ain g island dressing and rye bread for a more homemade flavour. My husband and I love them.
01/19/2009
Very good. I used turkey because I don't eat beef. I heated the sandwiches with the George Foreman grill.
08/15/2016
If you follow the recipe similar it says it will plow out perfect, the reviews are simply repeating the aforementioned affair, most of them say to drain the sauerkraut which is specified in the ingredients list. The melt time says 15 min per side on medium heat so that the insides are warm all the way through and the bread isn't burnt. Othere reviewers weren't being honest with the Stars because they wanted to accept a curt cut method or not fully read the ingredients list or instructions. If you want a 5 star repast follow everything information technology says and pay close attention.
03/17/2013
Love this - exactly how we make it at home, except I heaped on more shaved corned beefiness. It'due south also slap-up dipped in yellow mustard!
12/21/2006
Splendid! It came out simply like the picture show. I had never had corned beef or sauerkraut before and am non addicted of thousand island, merely the flavors blended together were peachy. I've made information technology 2 nights this calendar week. then unproblematic!
04/xi/2007
This was quick, piece of cake, and then adept. I used corned beefiness instead. My husband loved information technology and suggested to have the corned beefiness shaved at the deli. I will make this for now on and will be a family hitting! Thanks!
12/10/2011
I employ thousand isle instead.
11/17/2002
Fifty-fifty though I don't much care for Reuben Sandwiches, my hubby just loves them. He says that these tasted just like the ones he ate in NYC, which is praise of the highest society!! I volition make these for him every year on his birthday from at present on...thanks so much Colette!
03/19/2013
Wonderful sandwich! This is how we make ours ingredient wise. Withal, instead of deli corned beef, we always employ any left over corned beef from St. Patrick's day to make our reubens. We warm everything upward earlier creating this masterpiece of a sandwich!
04/06/2008
I fabricated these for my dad'due south bday lunch- reubens are his fav- and everyone LOVED them. I used reduced fat mayo in the dressing, reduced fat swiss, and Brummel & Brown spread (just happens to be the spread I always buy) and they chowed those things! I am a vegetarian, so I can't tell you personally, just I did brand myself one sans corned beef and it was delish.
02/12/2007
Very skilful. We didn't change a affair and information technology was perfect.
04/23/2007
I made this recipe for dinner tonight. All I tin say is YUM! These sandwiches were a real hit with my family!
02/17/2012
Classic! Make sure to cook these slow and so the meat heats and the cheese melts. Nothing worse than crispy bread with cold fillings. I make my own Grand Island using "Thousand Island Dressing II" from this site because I hate buying a whole bottle just for Reuben nighttime.
08/twenty/2008
adept sandwich
08/21/2014
Cracking recipe! The simply modify I would brand is to spread mayo on each side of the breadstuff, then toast one side of each piece. The toasted side will become the inside of your sandwich when you grill it. Two great things happen when you do this: first, the staff of life is nice and crisp on both sides and soft in the eye; second, the toast has a piddling flake of a sugariness taste to counter the tartness of the sauerkraut. Try it one time and estimate for yourself.
03/22/2013
Dear Reubens! fifteen minutes per side is definitely too long for this, but the ingredients and method are spot on. I did a quick pickled cabbage instead of sauerkraut and some leftover corned beef with rye/pumpernickel bread. So yummy! Thanks for the recipe!
03/25/2011
Fabricated these final night - like shooting fish in a barrel, tasty & quick. I put the thousand island on the side for dipping and heated the sauerkraut before adding to the sandwich. MUST utilise rye bread@
04/nineteen/2007
this is an excellent sandwich! i prefer marbled rye bread for eye appeal & russian dressing (when i tin find it). you can too cook a corned beef brisket for dinner & slice the leftover meat for this recipe instead of spending extra $$ at the deli. thanks colette!
12/02/2011
A classic and very good.....I am basing my review on having my share and knowing that this sandwich is astonishing. On some other note....I am non sure what the problem was with the corned beef I had purchased at the deli the other twenty-four hours....looked and smelled great....was very excited to eat the concluding production and hubby and I were simply disappointed that the meat was extremely rubbery and difficult to seize with teeth into permit lonely chew.....all in all.....definately not the recipes mistake or an error of mine....just a nasty cut of corned beef....lol.....thanks for a great recipe though!
12/28/2010
This is actually one of my hubby's favorite things I make! For a filling, hearty, and delicious meal you tin can't go wrong with these reubens!
05/03/2008
Made this sandwich with shaved turkey instead of corned beef since that's what I had on hand. I found it didn't have as long to make every bit the recipe says. Hubby and I absolutely loved it! This a going to be a new regular in my house.
03/27/2012
Bully sandwich, Used my own homemade Thousand Island Dressing and bootleg Rye breadstuff. I grilled in the panini press. Don't know why I waited sooooo long to endeavor 1 of these sandwiches!!!
08/05/2016
Delicious, as skilful as it gets!
07/26/2008
skillful and easy
02/04/2013
pretty adept just something missing - maybe it's the but the thousand island dressing i used - i just felt like the whole sandwich lacked flavor - perchance at that place needs to exist some additional seasoning added or make your own 1000 island
04/21/2007
I followed the recipe word for give-and-take and I would NEVER change a affair! My husband and I both requite it five stars. This was absolutely Delicious!! I served the sandwiches with chili cheese fries. :-)
08/xiv/2008
my husband loves this recipe, he commonly eats them all twenty-four hour period and there is none left for the next solar day :)
06/24/2006
This is very yummie. I used provolone cheese and pastrami. I put it in my George Foreman grill and it went real fast. My husband said equally a side dish with this reuben I should have fabricated a cucumber salad. I volition the adjacent time. We really enjoyed it. It was better than any reuben at whatsoever eating house.
08/03/2012
Excellent recipe, first-class food.
08/15/2002
My husband loved this! So easy he made it for himself!!
06/nineteen/2008
This is really good in fact, my husband asked me, "where did yous get this?" thinking I bought information technology from a restraunt!
02/13/2007
Delicious! This is my favorite blazon of sandwich. I wasn't able to discover it in restaurants down here in VA like I was in WI, simply I tried this homemade recipe and it's perfect!
07/31/2011
Peachy recipe. I heated everything separately though because I'm away from my sandwich toaster. Left out butter and added a scrap more thousand isle. Very tasty:o) thank you
07/31/2012
You can't go wrong with these and you can't mess them up. We nothing the sauerkraut and sometimes use Provolone cheese instead of Swiss. We also use our panini grill to make them.
01/04/2017
This was DELICIOUS!!!!!!!
07/eleven/2011
I make the Rachel version of this sandwich using Smoked Turkey Breast, since I love this sandwich, but not a fan of Corned Beef. I also use Baby Swiss cheese for a milder flavor and light One thousand Isle dressing...information technology'southward soooooo good!
04/xix/2007
This sandwich is slap-up, but if yous don't like Thou Island dressing, but add some prepared mustard. Information technology is nifty that mode as well. Marbled (rye/white) bread gives a Reuben a fancy appearance.
06/01/2012
I also make these with bottom fat cafeteria ham and monterey jack cheese.
03/26/2012
Great sandwich! I used more meat and sauerkraut with seeded rye sourdough bread and fried them in the frying pan. They turned out bang-up, my hubby and I loved it. Side by side fourth dimension i'll endeavour it with a different type of sauerkraut and with pumpernickle breadstuff.
12/07/2014
Great recipe! I did employ a picayune more than Yard Isle dressing than called for, and I cooked it on medium low for about six minutes per side. Loved information technology!
